AAP Releases Its Funding Priorities for 2007-2008
AAP supports the Governor's budget proposal for instructional materials. The budget recognizes the fact that instructional materials are uniquely essential. Teachers and parents can compensate for other problems in public education if every student has access to up-to-date instructional materials for every student. In addition, AAP supports reauthorization of the Instructional Materials Realignment Program and all legislative efforts to extend or eliminate the sunset date for instructional materials.
